| This paper presents a novel Windows 95/98 software designing method for central heating network supervisory control system, which is better than the prior one for DOS and decreases the developing time greatly. This new software is written with Visual Basic, and an added Visual C++ Dynamic-Link Library (DLL) works well together with the Visual Basic codes. After the research of the principles of central heating network and under the users?demands, the concept of software configuration is used in the development, which highly improves the software reusability. With the technology of Microsoft Object Linking Embedded (OLE) and Automation, the dynamic data reports are realized easily in Microsoft Excel. The sampling data are stored in the Microsoft Access databases and can be accessed freely by programming with Data Access Objects (DAO). All parts of the software work in harmony and realize the functions of the supervisory control and data acquisition for central heating network. |
