Analog to digital conversion module (ADC) is an circuit who can concert the analog signalinto digital one and ADC is an important module of SOC. This thesis solves the intermittentconversion error issue of the A/D conversion module of a HC08series product of Freescale,and it improves the coverage of test program in production.The study object of this paper is Analog-To-Digital conversion module of Freescale HC08series. The experimental content includes the analysis of the work principle and theory of theAnalog-To-Digital conversion module, the research of the intermittent conversion error, as wellas the improvement of testing method. The article introduces the function of ADC module ofHC08series product, and it indentifies the test method for analog-to-digital conversion modulein Freescale. Analyze the root cause of ADC intermittent conversion error. Perform theexperimental research on the program application aspect and the physical layer aspect, as wellas the debug and setup of new test program. This action improves test coverage consequently.The new method can screen out all defective units with such conversion error. And it improvesthe quality of the product. The thesis provides the reader a new test method for the ADCmodule.
