Electro-hydraulic proportional synchronous system serves as an importanthydraulic system to achieve some execution of heavy load. In this case, the research offailure mode of such system is essential to anticipate the possible risk, as a result toassure the safety in motion. Combined with the practice application of electro-hydraulicproportional synchronous system, the failure mode and failure mechanism have beenanalyzed. The dynamic characteristics of such system are obtained by Matlab simulation,based on the nonlinear dynamic mathematical model. The RBF neural network isproposed to identify the failure mode and the RPN criteria is adopted to estimate thefailure mode. The main contents and contributions of this dissertation are listed asfollows:(1) Electro-hydraulic Synchronous Control System is researched based on the controlfunction and mode of ring gate for hydraulic turbine. The possible failure mode issubmitted based on the analysis of system. The failure mechanism of failure modeis proposed.(2) The nonlinear dynamic mathematical model is submitted based on the analysis ofthe primary hydraulic components. The dynamic simulation of system is executedby Matlab tool. The dynamic performance of electro-hydraulic proportionalsynchronous system is achieved by simulation.(3) Some typical failure modes have been simulated based on the mathematicalmodeling and performance analysis. RBF neural network mode identification isproposed to achieve the complicated system failure mode identification.(4) Based on the identification of failure mode, the RPN values are submitted toachieve the estimation of severity.
