Design Of Traffic Information Acquisition System Based On Wireless Sensor Network

In modern society, one of the most important questions is a city traffic congestion, and itis the most effective solution is the intelligent transportation system, intelligent transportationsystem is the core of traffic signal control system, and traffic signal control and inseparablefrom the traffic information collection, wireless sensor network technology to the traditionalinformation acquisition technology, with self organization, distribution, not subject toenvironmental restrictions and other advantages.Focusing on how to use ZigBee technology to build wireless sensor network, in view ofthe present our country ’s crossing, traffic flow, traffic is relatively confused phenomenon, andfinally realizes the wireless sensor traffic information acquisition system design.The first review of the intelligent transportation system development status at home andabroad, and then the system structure of wireless sensor networks are introduced, the wirelesssensor network is based on ZigBee technology as the carrier, on this basis, we focus on thetechnology of ZigBee protocol stack is introduced.Finally, has carried on the system design.We use ARM7series LPC2138microprocessor as main control chip, CC2420chip as wirelesscommunication chip. The selection of sensor type HMC1021Z giant magnetoresistive sensor,eventually completed the wireless sensor node and sink node hardware design of wirelesssensor. In terms of software, we design the whole network process, realize the ZigBeewireless network and traffic data collection, transmission and processing. Through theintegration of wireless sensor nodes in node on the sensor module, collecting traffic data, andthe data transmitted through the ZigBee network to wireless sensor nodes of wireless sensornodes, responsible for collecting network transmission over the data, the data collected istransferred directly to the computer, or by other means such as GPRS, Internet final trafficinformation transmission and management. The good fusion of ZigBee technology, wirelesssensor network technology and traffic information collection technology, based on therealization of the wireless sensor network traffic information acquisition system design.
