Building A System Of Devices For Automobile Driving Aptitude Tests To Professional Drivers

With the rapid development of road transport business in china, road traffic accidentproblems are getting more and more serious, especially operating vehicle road traffic safetysituation is very severe. The driver is in a dominant position of the traffic system，so thequality of driver is the main factor in the traffic safety system。The large number of domesticand foreign researches shows that there are some people more prone to curse trafficaccidents in the driving population,which are called as "accident tendentiousness"phenomena，its exist has drawn out the "driving suitability theory", namely "some are suitablefor professional drivers but some are not fit in the" professional. Especially as a professionaloperating vehicles driver, if he isn’t suitable for professional driver, it will bury great hiddentrouble in the road traffic safety.Driving suitability test is based on driving suitability theory, and it is technology whichtest driver’s physiological and psychological quality. And test results as a basis screening onor retraining the drivers. This paper mainly study on building a system of devices forautomobile driving aptitude tests to professional drivers.The present situation of professional driver suitability theory is introduced, psychologyand physiology factors that influence professional driver safety driving and the professionalcharacteristic of professional drivers are analyzed. The professional driver suitabilityassessment indexes is determined.On the basis of ergonomic theory, Using single chip computer, machinery, networktechnology, night vision, surrounding risk perception, brake operating andemergency/continuous emergency reaction detection equipments are developed. Newdeveloped equipments and existing detection equipments, including speed anticipation, choicereaction, action judgment, movement vision, scotopia, depth perception and so on, arenetworked for integrity of operations. The efficiency of the equipments have been proved by ttesting the professional driver who has worked for3years in7Large transportation companyof Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Sichuan. And the system of devices for automobile driving teststo professional drivers is built.Above all, this paper gives the summarization of the work and look forward to the trendof the system of devices for automobile driving aptitude tests to professional drivers.
