The Construction Of Four-index TV Program Evaluation System

In the face of the drastic competition in TV market, the TV media are boosting up their quality conception and perfect production consciousness. The program is the fundamentality of the TV media, therefore the quality of program is the precondition of the quality of TV medium's operation. Looking at the development of TV media, program evaluation is bringing into play a important effect in media's management. The media practitioners and theory students are searching after the TV program evaluation system according with the situation of our country. Because double attribute of our media: political attribute and economic attribute, when we evaluate the quality of TV programs, we should not only seeing about it's society benefit but also economic benefit. We think, the evaluation system which integrate the teleview quantity,the teleview quality and operation quality can incarnate the programs'value. Start with the three aspects, We choice four indexes namely audience rating,contentment degree,professional opinion and cost-income ratio separately in this paper. Analysing every individual index first, then integrating them to a integrated evaluation system. We'll set out it's structure , demonstrate it's feasibility, and try to bring forward material operation method. Similar program evaluation system was put forward on the TV and broadcasting annual meeting in 2002,But it just has four indexes audience rating,contentment degree,professional opinion and investment-income ratio, lack for in-depth demonstrate. So as to apiece TV station's use is differ in thousands ways, some chose different indexes, some set different percentage. It lose it's practice meaning. In this paper, the four-index TV program evaluation system is constructed base on my knowledge, also can be considered as a embedded argumentation about the system which was brought out on the TV and broadcasting annual meeting on a certain extent. We hope it scientific,universal and maneuverable, and make the landscape orientation compare between different programs become true.
