The measurement and control of system including temperature, pressure, flow, andlevel are the most important in industry. Students majoring in Measuring and ControlTechnology and Instrumentations and Automation have to master them. But, at present theprocess control equipments are huge and complex, laboratory situation is hard to satisfy theteaching requirement.In order to assist the teaching, The experimental teaching system isdeveloped.Firstly,in the article recent situation of process control platform are analyzed,thenecessity of establishing process control platform is recalled. In view of the singularity ofexperimental platform now, the function has completed and many demands contented theplatform is designed. The system has completed hardware equipment selection andinstallation, and base on the hardware features, Sofeware platform and experimental platformhave been designed.The system is designed with three-tank water, with water as medium and simulates theactual technological process.The system uses the measure and control methods combine withintelligent instrument and computer, which can not only measure and display the parameterof temperature, pressure, flow and level, but also automatic control water pressure, waterflow and water level. Controller can select the smart conditioner, the computer or frequencycontrol system. On the sofeware, configuration software kingview has achieved friendlygraphical interface, data acquisition, data processing, control and communication functions.
