In the petrochemical industry production, advanced process control (APC) can bring along great economic benefits, but the key that APC can run well is to keep the APC model adaptive with the real process. As above, according to a new idea for model configuration based on process theory, the modeling is realized automatically on software development platform with Visual C++.Firstly, the drawing of basic process graphic model is realized in this paper, and the basic graphic model-base is developed. An automatic configuration software for APC model is realized based on basic mechanism mathematical model-base and the process basic graphic model-base, which can refresh the APC models when actual process changes by user's configuration, and secondary development may be realized and the APC system performance is improved radically.Secondly, this paper realized the operator platform of APC in style sheet and flow chart.Thirdly, by using the technology of OPC and share memory, the communication between the configuration interface and the real-time database for APC, the lower computer and configuration software, the management platform and operator platform is realized in this paper.Lastly, having used the configuration software of this paper, an APC system is implemented for A3000 process plant bases on SUPCON DCS. The APC system has run normally shows that A3000 APC system configuration is effective and feasible.
