Aluminum powder plays an important role in the industrial production. The nitrogen atomizing technology has the reactive feature and the fine power proportion, so it is adopted by many enterprises. Depending on the actual engineering requirements, the monitoring system based on WinCC configuration platform is designed. It realizes the automatic control of the production process and meets the customer requirements. The system is friendly interface, simple operation and complete functions. It also expands the certain function and achieved very good monitoring and control requirements.This paper introduces the aluminum power nitrogen atomizing & classifying process and analyzes the basic principles of the three subsystems. The monitoring system features a complete design and completes the development of the monitoring system based on the WinCC configuration software platform. This system enables the on-line monitoring about the production process and other functions. To enhance the system security, redundant systems is increased. There is a question that some important parameters can not be real-time measurement in industrial production and this paper has set up a communication and data acquisition platform. On this platform, it displays the real-time data and historical data, based on neural network process model. It also realizes the real-time data transfer between Matlab and WinCC and seamless integration based on WinCC configuration software as well as the multi-variable access to historical databases. The OPC technology realizes the communication between the Matlab software and WinCC but it does not take full advantage of Simulilnk modular function and it is also bad with the configuration software. The paper gives full consideration to its modular set, and it can achieve an independent operation in the configuration software so as to avoid frequent switching with Matlab. Because there is a lack of access to historical database based on single variable, the paper implements multi-variable access to the database. Through the simulation of the production process, it also achieves the real-time display about parameters.The system has been used in a business and runs well. It not only increases the safe production, but also brings the huge economic benefits for the company.
