With the rapid development of the Internet technology, computer and peripheralmarket has been gaining a bright future. At present, laser printer productsmanufactured by the United States, South Korea, and Japan are occupying a dominantposition in the market. These manufacturers have mastered the core technology oflaser printing, which is seriously restricting the development of the industrial chain ofthe domestic laser printer field. At the same time, China’s government highly valuesthe development of independent and controllable laser printing technology, which isone of the cores in "the Twelfth Five Year Developing Plan”, the basic path ofindustrial upgrading and transformation, and the inevitable choice of the industrialscientific development. Therefore, how to develop high-speed, high-resolution laserprinter has become a key research direction of the domestic information industry.The laser printing technology with high level of electromechanical integrationtechnology, involved in the subjects like control software, optics, materials science,machinery, communications. This article discusses in detail of the writer’s researchand practice according to the “R&D of Safe Laser Printer and the Demonstration ofIndustry Application”, a project supported by the “Bei Zheng Plain” of the NationalElectronic Information Industry Development Fund. The main content of the subjectis the R&D of laser printing software based on the DC1100controller chips.This paper mainly discusses the principle of laser printing technology as well as thedesign and implementation process. Firstly, the technology principle and the basicplatform of laser printing is briefly demonstrated; based on which the laser printingsoftware in the project is then designed systematically and analyzed according to therequirement; the implementation of the laser printing software and key technologies iselaborated in the end. the author summarizes the laser printing software and revealsthe future of laser printing technology. In the software development process, theauthor used a hierarchical design method to build the software system; centered thefile management module and isolated the communication layer and driver layer tosimplify software design therefore improved the efficiency of parallel development;and also adopt multi-threading technology and message delivery mechanism and the scheduler modules and achieved high-speed laser scanning unit controls, theinstantaneous temperature change control and other key technologies.
