The Realization Of Knowledge Management And Issuing System For Telecommunication Operation And Maintenance

With the telecommunication reform and the convergence of networks, telecommunication companies have been transformed their single operation into full-service operation. Meanwhile, new subjects have been brought up due to the increasing of detailed network operation and maintenance cost, and personnel reduction for higher efficiency in the concerned departments. To achieve this, Jinan Branch of China Unicom suggests that a system, which is used to manage and issue knowledge about the network operation and maintenance should be built in order to accumulate more network operation and maintenance knowledge and offer a management platform for the echelon building.This system will integrate the basic theory, personal experience and trade information in the network operation and maintenance into a platform in a reasonable way, and the platform will also include the management of the consumption of petroleum for electricity, contests of user feeling about the wireless network, tests for maintenance staff. In this way, this system will be the resource center for the maintenance staff. This system will try its best to achieve the upload, release and common share of all kinds of documents by administrating a dynamic web site based on ASP and SQL Server technology.
