As China's mobile communication network development over the years, Henan Mobile has begun to take shape in internet scale. According to statistics, Henan Mobile's network has the equivalent of the size of any European country the size of the network. In the continuous expansion of the internet scale, a variety of communication technology and maintenance experience has been accumulated in every department of Henan Mobile and scattered in the hands of maintenance personnel. The accumulation of the operation and maintenance knowledge provides an important means for the daily maintenance. How to take full advantage of the valuable knowledge wealth has become the next step to improve the quality of network operation and maintenance. With the current ongoing expansion of the network scale and the centralized maintenance and management of network, the increasing number of maintenance staff demands a rapid increase in the knowledge of network maintenance. The poor experience delivery between the old and new maintenance staff, the depth of the operation and maintenance knowledge, and the continued knowledge accumulation have stirred up a contradiction with the higher requirements for network maintenance. To relieve the contradiction between supply and demand, the network department of Henan Mobile calls for establishing a set of effective management means of operation and maintenance knowledge and perfecting the system of operation and maintenance. The process system aims at building a centralized, standardized and information management system of the operation and maintenance.The network department of Henan Mobile found the demand for the management knowledge of the operation and maintenance in daily maintenance work and proposed to build a management system of the operation and maintenance knowledge. This system can be used to meet the demands of the branch companies in such daily maintenance as fault identification, sharing experience and the management of operation and maintenance knowledge, and it also can provide techniques for centralized maintenance and the management of operation and maintenance.On the basis of the detailed analysis of the present situation of Henan Mobile operation and maintenance management, the practices of the operation and maintenance personnel, and the demands and further development of information technology, this paper tries to construct a knowledge management system of operation and maintenance with the industry's popular middleware products and proposes a program of knowledge management platform of Henan mobile. It also gives specific design and implementation means. The following is the content of the research.1. To analyze and study the construction demands for the knowledge management system of the operation and maintenance concerning Henan mobile in accordance with the third phase designing ideas of group corporation.2. To analyze the application of various norms of group corporation in accordance with the knowledge management of the operation and maintenance of Henan mobile.3. To propose the suggestions for the implementation of the knowledge management system of Henan mobile and to analyze the design.4. To compare and analyze the middleware technology of various content management and choose the suitable one and design the overall structure of the knowledge management system of the operation and maintenance, software system and host network environment. 5. To draw up the implementation programs of the knowledge management system of the operation and maintenance of Henan mobile, including software designing and prototype case, the implementation of plans and acceptance the system and so on.6. To improve the functional modules according to the problems confronted by the maintenance personnel of the branch companies during the trial operation ,to pay attention to the development of the content management technology and to put forward feasible suggestions for the evolution of the system.
