The Design Of Service Management Mode In The Campus Network Billing Management System

Along with the augment of the campus network size, new network application types appear ceaselessly, and this results in more and more difficulty of the network management. More and more high requirements are raised by the constant improvement of the information level, such as the network security, availability, stability and expansibility. So, the development of a new kind of integrated network management mode and visitor service mode become a necessary study task.The Art Design College has completed the First-period project of the campus network project in2003, realized the construction of the network infrastructure and opened the access authority to the outer net for part visitors. Along with continuous mount-up of the visitors and the increase of access to the outer net resource, the First-period project is unable to meet the above requirements. Therefore, in2010, during the Second-period project of the campus net, the Art Design College has developed the campus network authentication and billing system by outsourcing mode as the project owner and opened the access authority through authentication and billing system for college personnel. The Second-period project development of campus network by the Art Design College of art designs, not only achieves the accurate and reliable acquisition of data of authentication and billing to surf the netunder complex visitor environment, and also completed the design of campus net billing integrated network management database that could meet the requirements of different visitors.This article plans to study and modular design the campus network billing management system by the theoretical and technical, includes the technical application of the relational database to the technical foundation of SQL Server2000and the hardware environment, database backup and database recovery technology etc., and emphasis stresses to design and validate the campus network billing management system by the combination of WEB authentication, RADIUS and database. This paper also describes the design of campus network hardware platform, proposes the achieved goal of the campus network billing management system, and modular design the billing system of each function. Through the final debugging and modification, the function achieved the prospective purpose. At the same time, the practical operation information of the billing system can prove the stability and reliability of the design.
