Networking And Application Research On Fttx Based On Pon Technology

The rapid development of the Internet continues to promote broadband services such as IPTV, online gaming, video conferencing etc., and user’s demand and dependence on network bandwidth become increasingly apparent. All-optical network is the development trend of future network and FTTx is the future development direction of the fixed broadband access network. In2010, national "triple play" policy was carried out, and it would further promote the development of FTTx to more large-scale and widespread direction.At first, this thesis focuses on the research and design of FTTx based on PON technology. Firstly, different technologyies apply to FTTx are analyzed and compared. Then, the network architecture of FTTx based on PON technology is provided. Secondly, combined with the real network application of PON technology, major construction patterns and deployment principles of FTTx in various scences are discussed. Detailed description of FTTx access networking schemes in11types of scences are given. At last, taking City XX as an example, after analyzing broadband access network status, user service, bandwidth demands, detail solution on FTTx network planning and construction of city XX i put forward.
