FTTx Broad Band Access Technqiue And Application Based On EPON

In recent years, as NGN, IPTV, network video high bandwidth consumption type business constantly promoted,the demand of users to access the bandwidth of the increases day by day, at present mainly with ADSL broadband access way has been difficult to meet ordinary users'high bandwidth needs.EPON light access technology has been used in the commercial telecommunication gradually, which can provide higher bandwidth all optical networks become possible.This paper firstly introduces the current situation of the development of the broadband network,then make a overview to the principle and key technology EPON technology, development of EPON technological and the existing problems of EPON network.This paper makes a study of the solutions namely FTTX,which are based on EPON technique and used to achieve the last mile fiber access from users to operators. FTTx fiber as the transmission medium, have great transmission bandwidth, high quality, reliability, long distance and transmission of electronic jamming etc, and can satisfy users'growing big bandwidth business needs, FTTx broadband access technology with its huge technical advantage will be the future direction of the mainstream of the broadband access.At the end of this paper, describe fiber optic cable line project FTTH of Li Min xincun in Dong Shan.
