Targeted At The Office Automation Workflow Engine Research And Design

Workflow is automation or half-automation process based on computer in the whole or part of productive process, which divides work activities into documents, information or tasks between different participants according to the process defined in advance, in order to achieve or help achieve task goals. Workflow technology provides advanced means for enterprises to accomplish productive goal in a better way.Workflow management system, which is used to define, build and execute workflow, can standard work, distribute a variety of resources in order to enhance work efficiency. As the core component of Workflow management system, workflow engine ensure that the system transmits in accordance with process model defined by process definition tool, do the task allocation with participant types, and dynamically invoke third-party program to finish the interaction with the engine.The major task of this thesis includes:1.To study workflow reference model and XPDL(XML Process Definition Language) developed by WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition), and accordingly ascertain data model and function structure of workflow engine.2. Use UML to analyze workflow engine, design workflow engine based on JavaEE and Domain-Driven Design.3.The system uses relational database store process and related data to finishes the design of workflow engine by Java.4.To verify the workflow engine in Office Automation system, have passed large amount of data and high concurrent access test in practical application.
