The Research And Design Of The Personal Knowledge Management Software Based On Android

Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) is a branch of knowledge management,which refers people change information into knowledge and collate them by communication technology and computer technology.Knowledge management technology had gotten people’s attention10years ago or more early. But at that time, mobile communication technology was not considered, knowledge management can not be done at anywhere.According to the survey, there have been more users of mobile phone in2010than computer users for the first time, mobile phones become the most popular mobile electronics. In addition, the popularity of3G promotes the development of smart phones, all kinds of mobile phone software are in vogue. At the same time, Android system has quickly occupied part of the consumer market since it birthed. PKM softwares based on the Android platform can not only enrich the Android application software, but also can help the public to raise the level of knowledge management.This paper analyzes the framework of system software and discusses the development methodology of the A_PKM; After the detailed research and compared, according to different functions, the paper gives detailed classification and comparison of the application software on Android, and there is not much software about PKM.Personal knowledge management theory is combed and studied in the paper. The concept of knowledge is elaborated first, the classification of knowledge also can be done by different benchmark. Then the paper clarified the connotation of knowledge. The contents of PKM are descripted from needs analysis, acquisition and evaluation. Finally,the paper gives an account of the implementation process of PKM.Based on the above two aspects research, a PKM software based on Android is designed,that is A_PKM. Designed from from the presentation layer, the application module layer, the functional modules layer and the data storage layer, There are four modules in the software:Day-to-day management module、Internet management module、Schedule management module and Resource management module.In the implementation process, the development environment is builded firstly. Then the model of A_PKM is achieved on Eclipse by Java language.Finally the feasibility of the A PKM model can be tested and verifed on Dalvik virtual machine and Android phone.Users can visit the A_PKM, select different operations on the main interface.In the day-to-day management module, personal log can be added and organized in order to record ideas timely,it can shorten explicit cycle of the tacit knowledge;Landing mailbox,microblogging can do knowledge-sharing; contact information can be inquiried in this module. External search feature of A_PKM can reflected in the Internet management module. Scheduling midule includes the calendar, users can manage memorandum and check the weather. Internal search function can be achieved in resource management module.The paper also briefly illustrates the innovation and inadequacies, outlook the the future development of this software.The theory of PKM and Android technology is combined innovatively, and the APKM software has a good interface,is also easy to operate. Unfortunately, the database of this software can only be stored in the machine, and it can’t operate on the cross-platform.
