Design And Development For Small And Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprise Of Product Data Management (pdm)

With the development of several modern technologies such as computer technology, network technology and so on, a higher requirements on information resources management and use for modern manufacturing enterprises is put forward, the application of advanced information management system can effectively improve corporate efficiency and level of design, production, operation, management and service, then the competitiveness and economic efficiency of enterprises is enhanced. Enterprise information technology in manufacturing enterprises has been widely used, because of the differentiation of applying management system among small and medium manufacturing enterprise, it is a wise choice for manufacture enterprise to Product Data Management System which is suitable for practical condition.Aiming at the characteristics of appliances gas product, Product Data Management System is designed based on the research and analysis of the company, which can implement uniform and safe centralized management and control of map documents, materials and inventory for enterprises.Firstly, the development of manufacturing information and status of small and medium manufacturing enterprises are introduced briefly. For the problems existed in product management, system functional modules is designed and divided based on the demand analysis, system model is established by use of object oriental technique. Then system prototype model is constructed based on WEB-B/S architecture on the platform of ASP.NET. Secondly, the design of specific storage structure which is on the basis of relational database is introduced. Lastly, the implementation of each system module is described in detail. In this study, the analysis of small and medium-sized enterprises PDM systems, combined with PDM management technology, object-oriented software reuse technology and modular software design methodology, design and implement small and medium-sized manufacturing personalized PDM system. The system’s interface and function has an appropriate degree of flexibility, it’s code reusability high. After an appropriate configuration and simple modifications,it can adapt to the new needs of company users. It is proved that the Product Data Management has a very effective application in enterprise, and basic management requirements are satisfied for the company, data management efficiency is improved and traditional management mode is changed.
