Based On The Gis Management System Design And Implementation Of Land Use

With the fast development of the economy, governments at all levels are now confronted with a fundamental problem, that is, how to make full use of the limited land resources. The planning of land using is an effective solution to this problem. Managing and planning the available land sources, we will gain a comprehensive and sustainable economic development.Aiming at the main problems confronted in land management during the recent years, the author establishes a land-use management information system based on GIS. In this system, the great functions of GIS data management, analysis and visualization are used; MIS, OA and GIS are combined organically; the integration of pictures, texts and graphs in management information system is achieved. Choosing ArcGIS Engine as the platform builder, the author manages and plans the land resources through using component type GIS technology and Oracle database and designing a transplantable, all-purpose and extendable land-use management information platform.At last, the applications of the function modules are introduced. In the subsystems, through combing GIS, technology of spatial database and web technology, the author achieves the basic functions of data storage, map editing and supervision, which will supply decision support for making, managing and supervising plans.
