Design Of Comprehensive Land Use Planning Database System Based On GIS

Land planning database system is an important component of land planning decision support system. It is now a hot research area and a good way to improve scientificalness, maneuverability and timeliness of land management and of comprehensive land use planning.With the comprehensive land use planning of Qinzhou City of Guangxi Municipality as the study background, according to the theory and methods of system engineering and software engineering, and with the technology of GIS and database as its supports, this paper analyzed and studied the short-term, medium-term and long-term objective data about the county(city) level comprehensive land use planning. Then design and exploit county(city) level comprehensive land use planning database system based on GIS which makes the comprehensive land use planning more convenient, scientific, canonical, veracious and maneuverability.The object-oriented method of software development and the database modeling approach that bases on the relation model are employed in the system design. Combine data warehousing with data mining and the integration technology of heterogeneous database. The module formula GIS that bases on the flat of object module is applied to insert the MapX widgets of MapInfo into VB exploitation flat to explore. The attribute and space data are saved in SQL Sever in unites. The storage, dynamic renewal and various query of the attribute and space data, the exchange visits between the attribute and space data are realized. It can also manage the document of the land use planning and give data support for the land use planning application mode. The design and coding of attribute data is refer to the national standard, which make the database standard and popular. The results suggest that the comprehensive land use planning database system is a new effective tool to improve the scientificalness and timeliness of the comprehensive land use planning.
