With the widely used of embedded system and the rapid development of hardware technology,the request of meteorological observation field to the accuracy of ground meteorological observationand stability of meteorological equipment become higher and higher, using the embedded system asthe core of the automatic weather station is widely concerned.In this paper, to improve the automatic weather station as the goal, in-depth study of theembedded technology in the application of automatic weather station, using the hardware softwareco-design method, the system of automatic weather station is designed. The whole system is based onLPC1766microcontroller as the core, using the advanced sensor, expanding many kinds ofcommunication interface, with relevant peripheral circuit hardware; The software part use embeddedreal time operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ as the platform, and transplant the lightweight TCP/IP protocolstack LwIP. The software of application layer designs and realizes the module of the system and taskscheduling structure, composing of the automatic weather station software. And, based on the servicesthat LwIP protocol stack to provide, achieve a simple embedded Web server in application layer.Through the client browser access to automatic weather station for the current collection of data,introduce the process and result of two aspects from the static data and dynamic data.Finally, through the test validation, the automatic weather station system fully meets the target ofhigh measurement accuracy and stable running.
