Student Information Management System Software Design And Development

With the accelerated construction of information technology, more and more highschools start to focus on the student information management. Now,the number of highschool student is large,if we use file management,it will be difficult. In order to reduceteachers’ burden in management, it designs student information management system toperfect the student information management, improve the management level andefficiency.Student information management system which use management informationsystems, computer and network, develops into integrated management system,whichincludes the basic information for students, professional information, class information,teacher information, course information, performance information, performance duringthe school information, employment information, student opinions and suggestions etc.The system is an integrated system,which adopts B/S, makes SQL Server2000asthe database, ASP, JavaScript, and HTML as the programming language, WindowsServer2003as the server operating system,IIS6.0as the server-side.The system based on the user module, analysises the sub-module and writes thecode.It has four modules, including administrator module, counselor module, teachersmodule and studenst module.Administrator module will complete system management, such as classroommanagement, grade management, curriculum management, professional management,rights management, user management, job management, incentive management anddatabase management.In counselors module, counselors can complete the student informationmanagement, performance management during the school, post management in theschool and employment information management,.Information management of themid-term employment will work only after the students’ graduation.In teachers module, teachers can complete the class inquiry and record the mark.Teachers can only inquire their own class, and print the template, such as the attendance, the mark etc. Teachers who record marks must land in a specified time, or else it can notbe entered.In the student module, students can complete some personal information andemployment information.Some information can not be changed, such as Students’ ID,name, gender, etc., while other information can be modified.Employment informationmanagement will work after the students’ graduation.Through the above design, the system can be completed and practiced Through theuse of this system,it will greatly reduce the burden on the teachers’ management, willbe more standardized in the student information management, and will improve themanagement level and efficiency in student work.
