In order to adapt to the rapid development of city construction, there is no time todelay the construction of visual information sharing platform covering city metro area.Digital subway system can achieve the goal of information sharing and comprehensiveutilization and it will also provide more direct and abundant information to the relevantdepartments and the vast majority of travel staff. Chengdu Metro visualizationinformation system refers to a electronic information system that can make full use ofthe digital information technology and network communication technology andassociate the information of subway and geographic in accordance with the unifiedspecification to form a vivid visual spatial information during the time of the metroplanning, construction and management. It can also manage,analysis and make a assistdecision to the spatial information. It is helpful to the conformity utilization of variousinformation resources of the subway and external digital information.This thesis introduces the research status of the domestic and international andseveral key technologies in Web GIS service system, such as Web GIS, SuperMapIS.Net and spatial database engine of SDX+technology. It puts forward a system targetbased on analysis of demand of the users including ordinary staff, travel websitemanagers and Chengdu Metro management and non functional requirements the system.It also introduces the GIS system architecture which is based on SuperMap IS. NET andthe function of various levels, and relates to the development of components from alllevels of correlation angle, and elaborates GIS system processing process. Through thestudy of component, system structure and operation mechanism of the technology ofSuperMap IS.Net, and considering the advantages and disadvantages of a variety ofarchitecture design, the system architecture of B/S mode is proposed, and the users canlog in to the system through the Internet whenever and wherever possible. The system isbased on the IISWeb SQL-Server server, database server and IS.NET map applicationserver in the Windows XP operating system, and its development software are mainlySuperMapIS.NET and SuperMap Deskpro, and it takes the secondary development tothe system through the application of.Net and ASP. Through the whole development and design of the system, it displays the style of the foreground and background of thepage style and gives a detailed description of the final result of each function module.Finally, through standardized test preparation, it introduces the tests in which thefunction of each module both in the foreground and background are all tested, and thetest results are analysed.This thesis mainly studies the foreground module which can divide into front page,passenger flow analysis page, running line page and the station visual page. It can alsoprovide the functions of map toolbar operation, fare query, map operation, subwayoperation schedule, matters needing attention of query, analysis of the surrounding ofthe mtr map and search functions, and so on. These functions are mainly aimed at thepassengers.The metro visual background system which is aimed at the administrator candivide into the backstage site home page, page that can add sites, page that can managesites, page that can add administrators and page that can manage administrators. Itprovides the functions of map operation, geographic information management, layerdynamic operation and dynamic information release and so on for administrators.
