With the progressive advancement of urbanization, urban construction is developing rapidly. The underground portions of various buildings is covering more areas; and the depth of foundations is becoming deeper. Besides, more standardized, informationized and intelligent foundation pit projects, with more complicated conditions, are able to excavate bigger and deeper foundations under more complicated conditions. However, monitoring foundation pit projects, processing and archiving of daily monitoring data are complicated and troublesome, which requires cooperation of a great deal of manpower. Moreover, data sharing contains difficulties and forewarning and alarming processes are relatively weak, all of which make projects risky and even lead to incidents. This thesis aims to provide solutions for foundation pit project management, designing and implementing a computer application system, improving performances of data sharing and analyzing of foundation pits, guaranteeing safety of foundation pit monitoring, and eventually realizing informationized and standardized management of construction projects.According to problems and actual demands of the domestic foundation pit monitoring project, Super Map, Ajax(asynchronous and dynamic refreshment technology) SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and HTTP protocol is comprehensively applied to establish a management system for foundation pit projects. The main tasks and innovations of this thesis are as follows:1.Based on actual demands of BGI Engineering Consultants LTD. and field researches of foundation pit monitoring project, this thesis analyzes overall demands of foundation pit forewarning management system. Besides, in accordance with functional demands, performance demands and national monitoring standards of overall foundation pit forewarning systems, a system scheme consisting of data monitoring center and GIS management center is devised. On the basis of traditional MVC design pattern, also controlling layer is expanded into business logic layer and GIS logic layer, which brings convenience to development, expansion and deployment of the system. GIS logic layer utilizes Super Map to manage and exploit GIS information of foundation pits, SDX+ data engine to combine GIS spatial data and property data and Ajax technology to asynchronously and dynamically refresh GIS information.2.This thesis makes a detailed design for the system. Functional designs of the system include a GIS display module, a data analysis module, a data I/O module and a forewarning module. The I/O module can analyze data of electronic level, such as DINI12 and DINI03. After compensating computation, the module can store monitoring data. The forewarning module can carry out three-grade forewarning in dual control mode and then conduct alarming processing through e-mails and text messages. The data analysis module can reflect more direct changes and development trends of monitoring points. GIS caching and business caching are systematically designed to promote efficiency of the system. Besides, image pyramids of different levels is also set to improve GIS display time and LRU caching algorithm to develop a consistent data caching maintenance program.3.Moreover, this thesis also develops and implements various functional modules, such as GIS display, data analysis, data I/O, forewarning management and project archiving modules. During the implementation, caching technology is used to improve efficiency of the system. In addition, a deployment system is employed on cluster pattern, which makes the throughput decreased, system stability improved and load equalization achieved. The system has been successfully applied in BGI Engineering Consultants LTD. and has brought impressive economic and social benefits.
