Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a new kind of automatic identificationtechnology, it has been made a breakthrough progress on its study at present. Theinformation in the electronic tag can be read and changed by the reader in RFID system.In this article, the status of the cigarette logistics and warehousing system waselaborated. The application, advantages and working principle of RFID were analyzed.Combined with the bar code technology, the possibility of RFID technology applied tothe cigarette pallet warehouse system was proposed. The cigarette pallet warehousesystem based on RFID was developed, and then, be simulated at logistics laboratory.In this paper, RFID and bar code technology was studied. The basis of data miningmethods in the cigarette pallet warehouse system combined with the two was proposed.The stack generate and update software was developed, the scanner scan the bar code ofarrived pieces of cigarette to generate stack information in the stack generate software,then establish the association between pieces of cigarette and stack by one-dimensionalscanner and read-write device.Input and output software of the whole stack of pieces of cigarette was developed,this software can make a detailed record of pieces of cigarette-specific information andthe number of input and output.The stack information inventory software was developed. When the establishedstack information changed in the process of warehousing and distribution, the new stackinformation will be updated to the data area of the electronic tags.A database table was created for cigarette pallet warehouse system and successfulimplementation of a database connection through the use of VC#.NET and ACCESS,the cigarette pallet warehouse management software based on RFID was developed.This paper has also completed data mining and cigarette input and output summary,detailed statistics query, cigarette classification inventory statistics and so on.The developed system was simulated and tested in the warehousing and logisticslaboratory. The results showed that: the warehouse system is feasible, and can achievethe functions of a whole stack of pieces of cigarette at input, output, inventory, transferand so on.The anti-collision problem is studied in the process of test: under the same conditions, the DLC-6820C reader is more powerful than the CM500type of reader inliteracy and anti-collision, due to its higher prices, suitable for large-scale warehousemanagement systems. While the CM500type of reader is suitable for a small-scalewarehouse management systems.
