Radio frequency identification has the characteristic of rapid and automatic identification. It is applied to the logistics and warehousing field will greatly improve the speed for information collection and the efficiency of logistics. However, the original data collected by readers have existence a large amount of redundancy, greatly limits the promotion and popularization of RFID technology. Therefore, if we need to promote RFID technology, the problem of cleaning huge amount of redundant data that RFID system produced become very necessary.This article first introduces the function of the RFID middleware and the significance of applying RFID middleware to the company. This paper analyzes the advantages of logistics warehousing system based on RFID. Then, it focuses on the study of the data flow that RFID system collected, including data flow characteristics, category of data redundancy and the judgment of valid data. At last, it analyzes the characteristics of the existing RFID data redundancy cleaning methods, and points out the advantage and disadvantage of these methods.In a large logistics warehouse RFID management system, readers and tags are usually densely distributed. Reader redundant is one of the basic problems that affect system performance. In RFID system, if we find and prevent redundant reader uploading redundant data can reduce energy consumption, optimize the system deployment and reduce the volumes of tag data that need to process. This article analyzes several reader redundant eliminate algorithms, such as RRE, LEO, I-RRE and MRRE, and makes further study for the advantage and disadvantage of these algorithms. Results showed that RRE, LEO and I-RRE can eliminate a part of redundant readers of the RFID system, but these algorithms depend on the order of reader read and write. These algorithms also need to write information in tags and have the shortcoming of false negatives. MRRE algorithm has many advantages compared with other algorithm. It doesn't need to write information in tags. MRRE algorithm only need the current system reader-tag topology, and then, through matrix manipulation to find out the redundant readers. But MRRE algorithm also has the problem of false negatives. This paper makes some improvements for the MRRE algorithm and puts forward the Improvement of Middleware-based Redundant Reader Elimination Algorithm(I-MRRE). Finally, this paper designs simulation software to simulate these algorithms. The simulation experimental results show that I-MRRE is about 17.6% higher than MRRE in redundant reader detection.But through redundant reader eliminate algorithm cannot completely erase the problem of data redundancy in RFID system. In order to rapid and efficient clean the redundant tag data and reduce the traffic of RFID system. This paper uses the I-MRRE, puts forward single and multiple data redundancy filter method, and uses hash table to filter redundant data. At last, simulation software has been designed to simulate the process of data acquisition and data filtering. Experimental results show that the redundant data filtering strategy can effective reduce the redundant data upload, the traffic of the system and the processing burden of RFID middleware.
