The advances of Micro-sensor technology, microelectronics, wireless communications technology and computing technology, which greatly promoted the development of wireless sensor network (WSN). WSN can automatically understand gathering information and transmission of the data, so it in all areas of life has broad application prospects. Although WSN still has many problems, WSN research is far from over, but current research has led to the WSN is more mature in certain areas and entered a practical stage. On this basis and in the case of its application in the constantly increasing, WSN application system development can use current technology to achieve, and to realize development of WSN through exploring about the application technology, which become a key to the nexus between WSN research and application.In this paper, the design is based on the Zigbee wireless sensor network system applied to farmland temperature and humidity monitoring as an example. Discuss the wireless sensor network application system setting up and optimization process. Design a basic system of wireless sensor network applications and given the general pattern of the wireless sensor network application development. The design method can be used for other related applications. The paper first describes the concepts and architecture of wireless sensor networks, Introduces the system analysis process, and compares typical related technologies of wireless sensor network applications. For the subject objectives, design and implementation of node hardware circuit which consisting of the CC2430and SHT10chip. Achieve the full functionality of the node by loading the SHT10related project files. Debugging the2006project file and adding the relevant documents of the temperature and humidity sensor based on the Zigbee protocol stack in the IAR environment. Modify and optimize Zigbee protocol stack to meet the system requirements about the network structure. In node identification, uses the method that is adding the node location information precoding before sending the packet. This method is a good way to solve the fixed position of WSN nodes spread node location function. Final send data function through the serial port and display the receiving monitoring data in the HyperTerminal. Finally, According to the development process, put forward a kind of "layer matching stack fusion" development WSN system idea.
