With the deepening of the information construction of the group, there has also been a common problem of IT, e.g. data lag, information island, mass data. The group need a data analysis system based on business intelligence. The system integrates the global data platform of the group, which will convert data stored in a variety of information systems into the useful information and knowledge to help enterprise improve decision-making capacity to resolve commercial problem.That achieve the technical service and decision-making, achieve a rational allocation of resources, and improve benefit and cost reduction. The contents of this article include:1、In theory, this paper introduces the business intelligence and its function, and mainly studies the technical support of business intelligence construction, including data warehouse construction (data extraction, conversion, loading) and the characteristics of the data warehouse (grain size, dimension, logic structure), besides, this paper studies data multidimensional analysis (OLAP) and data mining (DM) technology based on data warehouse, OLAP is equivalent to deduce, DM is equivalent to induce, and discusses business intelligence construction tools (including database, the ETL, front tools Arcplan), problems during the construction of business intelligence.2、Based on investigate about Xinjiang day industry (group) departments organization form, the situation of the construction of the information and the problems existing in the research foundation, checking out the enterprise ERP design document and ERP operation, and comprehensive analysis between the main requirements investigation and common statements, the demands of Xinjiang day industry (group) data analysis system are finally confirmed.
