The Design And Implementation Of Bookstore Analytic System Base On Business Intelligence

With the increasing development of the publishing industry, book sales continue to spring up and expand the enterprise scale. Many companies not only involved in intermediate merchant, but also involve the retail business, and have a number of stores. Determining how to stand out in a number of peers, to seize greater market share, to gain higher profits, to enable enterprises to survive, grow and develop has become a matter of concern by every book sales manager.Currently, many book sales enterprises use book sales management software to manage daily operational activities, such as purchase, sales, logistics and finance. However, the book sales management software available in the market tends to focus on the statistics and display of the sales data, no further analysis of the statistic. Lots of useful date cannot be adequate effective, reasonable use. It’s not providing accurate reference data for sales enterprise, and the value of data reduced greatly. Several software sales the statistical analysis function as plug-in, module or separately system. This thesis based-on existing system, use the business intelligence related techniques. Such as use data warehouse and Data warehouse related techniques to achieve business statistics, and use CBR(Case-Based Reasoning, CBR), one of the data mining techniques to provide purchase, returns and other business advice, to help enterprises more efficient operation, and to improve the economic efficiency by using historical experience and the results of statistical analysis.In this study, the main works are as follows:(1) Build the subject-oriented, time-varying data warehouse. Extraction, transformation, and loading the existing business system database data into the data warehouse.(2) Using online analytical processing (On-Line Analytical Processing, OLAP) technology for accurate analysis, and turning existing data in the enterprise into knowledge.(3) By using CBR data mining technology, complete the corresponding data analysis, provide the appropriate business proposals.In this study, upgrade existing system to improve the efficiency of statistical analysis. The new version can automatically collect the clerk performed the appropriate business operations in according to the statistical analysis results. The new system can accumulate human experience, and automatic make inferences according to the collected human experience to provide reasonable operational recommendations. The system has the ability of helping clerk improve business transaction processing.
