It will become a new two-way broadband access network what can simultaneously carrying telecommunications and TV business. It will provide users with rich and colorful two-way interactive business.This article is starting off the Yunnan province Radio and TV bureau of CATV network two-way technology research project. We analyzed the mainstream technology of the cable TV two-way access network reconstruction what lake CMTS and PON technology, client access LAN technology and EOC technology from work principle, technical standards and performance characteristics. We detailed zhe EPON techniques what is to be large scale application in two-way HFC network of the transformation at present, from the main performance indexes and concrete construction scheme of EPON system, calculationed the transmission distance and bandwidth capacity and other major properties of the system. At the same time, this paper discusses the registration process of EPON system, it is found that the registration system is a random multi access system, and each of the registration request frame of ONU there are conflicts phenomenon. At present the conflict through random withdrawn treatment and can’t be a good solution to this problem, this paper put forward the creative EPON system in the process of registered a modified binary tree decomposition algorithm conflict, and to improve the system throughput and reduce delay of system. We combined the current situation of HFC network structure, radio and television business development trend, the user needs and application scenarios broadband and other factors, this paper will above two-way access network technology to flexible combination, the design FTTB+EPON+LAN, FTTB+EPON+EOC, FTTC+EPON+EOC and FTTC+CMTS two-way technical plan. In the paper, the above four broadcast TV cable network technical of two-way scheme is introduced, this paper studied on the technical requirements and performance characteristics and reforming the cost, and the analysis of the main technical of two-way scheme for scene.
