College teachers are the main group that engaged in academic study, they are also important knowledge communicators.They play an important role in the progress of science and technology, economic and social development, spreading advanced culture. Academic evaluation methods are classified into two kinds:peer review method and quantitative index method. In the western academic developed countries such as the United States, Britain, peer review is given priority.Because of the low starting point of China’s university development,quantitative index is the leading role in academic evaluation in Chinese universities.. Based on quantitative indexs research university teachers’ academic evaluation is to grade teachers’academic achievements, the purposes are to grant title, optimize the allocation of resources and so on, ultimately boost academic research.At present Chinese college academic evaluation are mainly completed artificially by each school, workload is very large and lack of efficiency, research university teachers’ academic evaluation platform is designed to make the evaluation process is more convenient, reasonable and open, to simplify the research university academic evaluation process, reduce unnecessary teachers labor, has the important practical significance.This thesis first analyzes the quantitative indicators related theory, and the practice based on the quantitative indexs domestic and over sea. Then research university teachers’ academic evaluation index system was constructed, divide research university teachers’ academic activity by the three major components: teaching, research, school and social service,those are then divided into more detailed subjects, each subject has different scores based on different grades.these indexs formed the foundation of the evaluation platform. The design of the evaluation platform is based on the SSH (Spring+Struts2+Hibernate) software framework. it constructs an BS type enterprise application, the advantage is easy access wherever network is available. The work includes three main aspects:(1) database design;(2) establish framework and complete the interlayer (3) web page design and JS code. evaluation platform can be mainly divided into five modules:First, the user registration and logging module; Second, the teacher information query, classification, insertion and updation; Third, paper information display and download module; Fourth, the feedback of students towards teachers’performance. Fifth, calculating academic score and ranking.Functions of the web appliction is tested after complete writing the code. Take some teacher from Information and Engineering school in Wuhan university of technology as an example, teachers’ academic information are inserted, scored, sorted to find the platform’s deficiency and bugs. In the end I conclude my work and point out the improvements can be made later.
