Since 2010, assessment indicators have generated a broad discussion in field of informatics. New assessment indicators are keeping being raised and promoting the changing of bibliometrics indicators. In order to discriminate the difference of those new assessment indicators systematically and analysize the different emphasis of assessment indicators, this article follows the hotspots of assessment indicators and use some new multi-type assessment indicators (not single type) to evaluate academic journals in different area.Based on indicators on high impact and indicators on overall integration, this research chooses h-index, ratio indicator based on rank-citation curve, shape descriptor, shape centroids, academic matrix and academic trace. Then using Journal Citation Reports(JCR), this research choose 415 kinds of journals from six typical fields:Chemistry, Organic、Automation & Control Systems、Forestry、Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Medicine、Information Science & Library Science、History. This article uses correlation analysis method to compare the difference among different assessment indicators. The research result shows that: different bibliometrics Indicators have different features. When evaluating journals, since different indicators have different focus, the evaluation result can be different. Even though those differences exist, multi-type bibliometrics indicators have obvious correlation relationship with Impact Factor, which shows these multi-type bibliometrics indicators are effective. Moreover, academic trace is an ideal biblimetrics Indicators, since it has similar evaluation result with h index, and its evaluation result are multi-dimensional; comparing with academic trace, the evaluation result of SH, RH, SZ is not good enough; academic trace have obvious correlation relation and linearity, they are all ideal multi-type bibliometrics indicators. The innovation of this article is initially comparing difference among multi-type bibliometrics indicators:indicators on high impact and indicators on overall integration.
