Warehouse management takes the ’warehouse’ as its objects, and the ’information’ as the core. With the expansion of the scale of the enterprise, modern warehouse management presents a series of new development trend and requirements. RFID and WSN are the key technology in the Internet of Things:RFID can recognize object based on radio wave, and track the objects’s important information of location and state in real time. Different from RFID, sensors play an important role in communication between the physical and virtual world, they can identify and collect relevant data about the object of physical changes.Based on summary and analyze domestic and abroad current status of the warehouse management, it identify the needs and goals of the modern small and medium-sized warehouse management. Through the analysis of RFID,WSN technology features and the domestic and abroad research current status, combined with the status of the Dongguan warehouse, The plan that RFID and wireless sensor networks is used in the warehouse management is feasible in technical. Considering RFID and WSN technology have automatic acquisition and low cost features, thesis applies them to warehouse management, respectively achieved the collection and management of information of the warehouse’s goods and environment and the same time, make sure that the warehouse is working well and improve the efficiency of warehouse management, ultimately realize the management of the warehouse’s level, network and distribution.The thesis focus on two aspects:RFID in cargo management and WSN in environmental monitoring, and expand the introduction of hardware and software. On the hardware side, it analyzes the selection of RFID and design of each module of node’s JN5139, mainly include wireless transmission module, sensor acquisition module, power management, serial communication and real-time clock reset circuit. In the sensor network, comprehensively analyze the feature of various topologies of wireless sensor networks, and determine the best topology, and at the same time, discuss the network protocols and routing mechanisms. On the software side, it makes a brief introduction and design of the workflow of the RFID system, mainly makes a detailed design for each node in the sensor network; in the management of the system’s information, using the Visual Studio2005and SQL2005system to design databases and realize the management of information about warehouse goods and environmental. Finally, the paper summarizes the work done, and forecasts for the next step.
