Mstp Technology In The Application Of The Transmission Network

With the rapid development of global informatization,all kinds of telecommunication business grow fast,especially data service,thus the transmission network becomes more and more important than before.All the telecommunication carriers hope to put multi-access,sharing resource and good quality into reality in one transmit platform.Unfortunately the existing SDH network can not satisfy the market competing and multi-development any longer.Therefore,WAN netwokconstruction should be on the schedule.So far the WAN construction has got some achievements,and among the several technologies the MSTP is the one used widely.MSTP is involved from traditional SDH technology,and it completes multi-services accessing,processing and transmiting such as TDM,ATM,and Ethernet on the SDH platform.Based on that,embedding MSTP technology into existing network is a sensible choice.It avoid network reconstruction so that it is the best way for network construction investment.It not only satisfies the further requirement of network in next few years,but also saves maintenance cost as well.Key Point:First I introduce the concept of WAN and the technologies using over the WAN,then focus on the main widly used technology MSTP and its theory.According to the toplogy of network in China Unicom,using network of Beijing ITMC as an example,I made a full discussion and detail analysis of network route,equipment provisioning and network maintenance.In the end of paper coming with a conclusion and future sight of MSTP.
