Whether digital publishing or traditional publishing, both of thembelong to the publishing industry.And now,discussing the two which canbe "beat" or which can be replaced has not much practical significance.Paper-based and digital publishing can be seen as the different forms ofpublishing industry at different stages during its development. In recent20years, with the development of digital publishing wave in our country,although the scale and the total profits of the industry still can notcompete with traditional publishing, it also presents its extremely strongvitality. In the development of the publishing industry in the future, howto face the reality, clarify their thoughts, conduct the further reform of itsstructure to fit the trend of digital publishing, and win further extensionof industry chain, all of them are the problems need to be solved by mosttraditional publishers.This paper takes the digital publishing development of Guangximailin culture communication co., LTD for example, gives an analysis tothe issues like its development of ideas, advantages and the existingproblems by using literature research methods, field method, descriptivemethod and quantitative analysis method.Besides,combining the actual situation of digital publishing,the paper offers a series of suggestionsabout the traditional publishing industry’s chain extension in the digitalpublishing era, for reference only.
