In recent years, with the increasing consciousness of environmental protection, moreand more people are concerned about indoor air quality problems. Data from the ChinaNational Interior Decoration Association, because of the harmful gas pollution’s sake, thedeath toll has reached more than100,000people each year. Faced with such brutal truth,itwas become a current issue to be solved that how to more effectively on the indoor harmfulgas detection and treatment. Now main harmful gas detection device into portable detectorand fixed detector, respectively, in terms of mobility and continuity testing have certainadvantages, but in the field of harmful gas monitoring, there is a growing demand fornetwork monitoring, such as real-time data monitoring and processing does not have arelatively complete solution.Indoor harmful gas online monitoring system is to solution these problem, it by gassensor components, and zoom circuit, and AD conversion circuit and ZigBee wirelesstransceiver chip constitute of wireless detection terminal, on indoor harmful gas content fordetection, and data analysis, and data compression, after packaging, by ZigBee transceivermodule, sent to center monitoring computer for analysis, on harmful gas concentration tocurve and data way display, and limited alarm, and on related history data for storagemanagement.This article uses802.15.4/ZigBee for wireless sensor networks and embeddedtechnology, proposed a solution of indoor harmful gas line monitoring based on wirelesssensor networks. In order to achieve management in wireless sensor networks, wirelesssensor networks are abstract for a virtual device as an SNMP managed node, expand it onthe basis of the existing for wireless sensor networks, allows integration of wireless sensornetwork to the traditional information network. Because the development of harmful gassensor and is not within the scope of this project, This article in temperature and humiditysensor simulation harmful gas sensor, Design and implementation of ZigBee-based on-linemonitoring system for indoor harmful gas on the ARM9embedded platform. Experimentalresults indicate that the system in terms of signal amplification and data collection,transmission and management to achieve the desired purpose.
