Research And Design Of Railway Monitoring System Based On ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a distributed wireless sensor networks, combined with embedded chip technology, wireless communication and sensor technology.The network consists of network nodes which with integrated sensor components, each node for data information exchange through wireless, to form a multi-hop ad hoc networks.With the rapid development of modern communication technology and embedded chip technology, wireless sensor networks (WSN) in military and national defense, health care, intelligent monitoring, industrial automation, and many other fields has been widely used.in the areas,cost, performance, power consumption and other aspects have more stringent requirements.ZigBee technology as the primary communication protocol low-rate wireless sensor networks with low cost, good performance, simple protocol, safe and reliable for the development of wireless sensor networks provide a good opportunity.Railway Research and Monitoring System is the main purpose of this paper. Based on the analysis of the relevant technical papers,We designed a monitoring system based on ZigBee technology, to achieve the objectives of the monitoring system of data collection and transmission.First,paper introduces the research background and status,Analysis the needs and performance of the system.Next, the paper introduces the concepts and technical features of wireless sensor networks and ZigBee technology. On the basis, the paper has focused on explaining the formation of ZigBee wireless sensor networks, including wireless sensor network node types and wireless sensor network topology.Then the paper according to the actual application of the monitoring, analysis and design of the basic framework of the system, obtained the ZigBee wireless sensor network specific programs, and carried out research and design of the monitoring system software and hardware.At last, the monitoring system was tested, the test showed that the monitoring system to achieve the goal of data collection and transmission, to the pre-set standard.
