Geographic Information System (GIS) has been widely applied in land resource management, transportation management, protection of natural environment, geological disaster monitoring and etc. The information management system specifically for land reclamation work design is still in exploration phase. Urban and rural construction land linked (referred to as linked) were related to land reclamation, settlements construction and index turnover, the system specially to linked development is even more rare. To further enhance the work efficiency and informatization of linked; this thesis researched and designed a system about linked to urban and rural construction land management information based on GIS.Firstly, the system linked to urban and rural construction land management information based on GIS first conducts the linked to changes in the project in detailed business analysis. The linked to changes in project management work is divided into three parts from the perspective of the specific office:increase or decrease linked to the project information in inquiries, statistical analysis of project information, view and print of the project map. Then this thesis introduces the key technology about the urban and rural construction land of linked to project management information system based on GIS. The system use Visual Basic6.0as its development language, and used many key technologies including ComGIS, Oracle database and MapObjects control. Finally, the thesis introduces the system requirement analysis, database design and the main function module’s design and Implementation. The overall design of this system is mainly divided into three parts: attribute information management, graphics release and graphics editor.
