The miner’s lamp is the most important lighting tool in mine operations, its quality, and the health status will directly affect the normal production and life safety of the miners and the coal mines. Accordance with the provisions of the Coal Mine Safety Regulations, the lamp housing management staff must give a list which contains all the people’s names who have not return the lamp in two hours after being off duty and must report to the ore control room. At the same time, in order to ensure the reliability of the miner’s lamp, the lamp should be replaced after some time. Currently, the miner attendance management approach can not detect the lamp from being used abnormally. In addition, due to the frequent changes in personnel duty, the management can not avoid many things,such as, the lamp emissioning disorder, lossing,sevaral lamps holded by one worker and being used unreasonably.Intelligent management of the lamp has become an important topic in the study of coal mine application. Intelligent miner charging system is the monitoring platform of charging process with high intelligence and good reliability.Through the application of the platform, we can control the health status of the miner’s lamp battery, which can be used to reduce the miner maintenance, and extend the miner’s life. Also, we can reduce the investment on the miner greatly. In addition, through the management of the miner, we can realize the attendance management of miners, and put an end to the fact that the returning of lamp is not always in time. So, the system has very important significance.Miner’s charging system is designed to resole the questions in the coal industry. Its purpose is to establish a set of intelligent miner monitoring platform with the perfect design. In actual operation, we must detect the informations, such as, the charging time, the number of charge cycles, the charge current, and the charge voltage, to achieve the extrapolation of the miner’s life time, the location and the security. In the design of the host computer, we use the C/S structure and the MySQL database to provide users with real-time indication of the miner’s lamp status, and miners attendance information.
