ZigBee is an emerging technology with a unified technical standard for short-range, low-power wireless communication technology. ZigBee-tech mainly used in low-speed transmission and can be served as network communication protocol in wireless sensor networks.The powerful, flexible and reliable embedded system which aimed at specific applications has acquired a rapid development. Embedded devices need more communication interface in order to adapt the development of network.The two factors will be combined. Embedded wireless communication networks were constructed and applied to the miner's lamp monitoring. The data of Miner's lamp node will be collected and transmitted to the monitor center by ZigBee wireless network. The use and charge state will be controlled and managed effectively.Firstly, the relevant background of the subject was introduced. Linux operating system was transplanted and the Embedded System Platform was constituted. The basic function of a new protocol ZigBee2006 was researched; the architecture of network layer and application layer was analyzed in detail; the transplantation of ZigBee protocol in FFD and RFD nodes was realized.Secondly, high-performance ARM9 S3C2410 chip and wireless module were constructed to be a central control platform with ZigBee coordination function and S3C2410 interface circuit design is given. The principle of ZigBee the CC2430 chip's wireless transceiver module and on-chip MCU were studied in this paper.Thirdly, the principle of miner's lamp charge control was analyzed. The battery voltage, current, temperature data were collected by miner's lamp node, and then transmit them to CC2430 MCU through A/D conversion circuit in order to realize the intelligent control and wireless communications of miner's lamp charger. The reliability of charging system and lamp room intelligent management was improved. Embedded ZigBee wireless network can be expanded more sensors and provide more functions for a mine safety monitoring.Finally, based on ZigBee topology, using cross compiler IAR debugger, serial debugger and Packet Sniffer, a wireless communication of miner's lamp battery testing was completed, the captured packet contents were analyzed.
