Solar LED street lamp is a kind of independently run sytem.It is included with solar cell,storage battery,LED street lamp,charging circuit,driving circuit and controller.The storage battery of solar LED street lamp will be charged by the solar cell and charging circuit during the daytime under the control of controller. The LED street lamp is drived by the storage battery and driving circuit under the control of controller in the night.The design of controller is very important in the system of solar LED street lamp. Or the service time of storage battery will be decreased greatly if the storage battery is often in the state of over charging or over falling.In the paper a mornitoring method of multi-point is adopted to mornitor the state of charge(SOC) of the storage battery when storage battery is discharged to drive the LED street lamp by PWM controlling signal. The method can prevent the storage battery to the state of over falling point effectively.Finally a kind of new type controller's hardware and the software of controlling system about the method of charging or discharging and driving for storage battery and LED street lamp has been designed. And a method was studied about how to figure out matched solar cell and storage battery according to magnitude of power consumption of load before the controller has been designed.A solution of network is put forward for investigate every LED street lamp of a large number of street lamps real-time and exactly.And a kind of hardware and software module of controller is designed which can send and receive information on the CAN bus. And a monitoring system of upper-computer is realized in the paper.
