Exploration Into Environmental Reports In CCTV NEWS In "the Era Of Dark Green"

With the emergence of new environmental problems, the attention devoted to environmental problems has been drawn from the disruption and protection of environment to the environmental construction and human development. Then profound changes have been taking place both in the content and form of related environmental reports. In "the era of dark green", environmental reports highlight the all-round environmental problems, the opportunity and the challenge of human being due to the environmental change, even the common development of future generations and all mankind, instead of such sole topic as environmental pollution itself and the relevant detriment.As one of the most influential media which possessing the most extensive audience coverage,TV is, in the dark green era, faced with a series of questions:what are the features of its environmental reports? Is there any strength,weakness or improvement for TV? All the above questions should be solved as soon as possible. It is advantageous to do research on the TV environmental reports from the perspective of Journalistic Professionalism, which can on the one hand judge whether the environmental reports accord with requirements of Journalistic Professionalism,such as the principles of objectivity, freedom and responsibility, public service, self-discipline, and heteronomy, and can on the other hand offer effective suggestions on environmental reports.The thesis selects the environmental reports in CCTV NEWS as the object of study, then explores into the relevant agenda setting, news source, report tone, timeliness and audiovisual language by means of qualitative and quantitative analysis, finally summarizes the features, formation mechanism, weakness and countermeasures of environmental reports in CCTV NEWS.As a result, it is found that the subject of environmental reports in CCTV NEWS, which is "all-round development among human beings, society, and nature", is firmly upheld and promoted. However, some practice are against Journalistic Professionalism,such as too much propaganda, delayed report, excessive reliance on commentary.
