On Re-editions Of CCTV News Channel From The Perspective Of Journalistic Professionalism

Journalistic professionalism, a main concept of the western journalism, is the most important professional norm that the western journalists are supposed to scrupulously abide by. Modern China is similar to the early stage of western industrialization. With the overall development of the Chinese media reform and the deepening of the news reform, journalistic professionalism born in western industrialization naturally becomes an important theory resource of the Chinese media reform, and provides useful experiences for Chinese news practice. This thesis mainly aims at how the western journalistic professionalism combines with Chinese news practice and how localized journalistic professionalism is established in China.As a very influential media, CCTV news channel has experienced six re-editions of different scales from the first broadcasting in 2003 to the overall re-edition in 2009. Especially in 2009, CCTV news channel took significant measures for the hope of promoting its prestige and ranking among influential international media in the world globalization. Therefore, it has profound significance to study CCTV news channel re-editions.On the re-editions of CCTV news channel, the thesis carries out a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the influence of journalistic professionalism on CCTV news channel. On one hand, it introduces the development of journalistic professionalism in the East and West. On the other hand, it analyzes the impact of journalistic professionalism on the re-editions of CCTV news channel. And in the end, it points out particular improving ideas on CCTV news channel sticking to journalistic professionalism. This thesis comes to the conclusion that journalistic professionalism is gradually internalized in program structure, the way of report and program mode, etc. On this basis, the author thinks about how the revised CCTV news channel establishes Chinese characteristic of journalistic professionalism. It provides reference for exploring how to optimize news transmission by studying CCTV news channel re-editions from the perspective of journalistic professionalism. At the same time, it is significant for modern media to better implement and develop journalistic professionalism in news transmission.
