The accident rate and accident consequences of Mining industry have always ranked first among all industries. for this reason, our country invested a lot of human resources, material resources and financial resources into it, mainly achieved mechanization in mining enterprises, improved the level of mine production technology, expanded the range of equipment safety, but mine enterprise’s safety training work did not get a lot of progress, mining operations workers’quality is still very low, for example, safety consciousness of workers is low, unsafe behavior occurs frequently, job risk is unknown, low ability of accident emergency handling. According to safety accident statistics of China’s metal and nonmetal mine, more than90%of the accidents were still human liability accidents, which seriously restrict the development of mining enterprises.Currently, the form of safety training of mining enterprise in our country mostly used video and multimedia teaching means to instruct safety theory knowledge in mines, but most of mine accidents are underground accidents, such as water inrush accident, fire accidents, accidents incurred by Cave-in and so on, teaching training is hard to understand, video is lack of immersed sense and the ability to interact, workers can only accept passively, and they can’t image to get the core of the content, all these make safety training is often in a certain condition that workers are lazy, training teacher plays a monodrama, the examination is Optionally coped with, which leads to wrong operation, than accidents.Due to the disadvantages of traditional training methods, it has been not already to satisfy the production technology level in mines and the needs of modern safety production, it also can’t meet the needs of investment and profit and efficiency requirements to the modern development, so it is urgent to reform. Industry experts and government officials also actively looking for the most effective training methods, such as the animation teaching method, teaching method, laboratory teaching methods, simulation training system, virtual reality proposed or developed by home and abroad.the effect of Animation teaching method is not obvious because of its bidimensionality and naive character; The laboratory teaching method and simulation training system need to produce the model by reducing proportion or enlarge actual work environment to, so it need a lot of human resources, material resources and financial resources, not reality; As to virtual reality training system, because of its visuality, diversity, sense of being personally on the scene, virtuality, significant effect, low cost and other more advantages, it has emerged as the most promising training form.At home and abroad, some companies has developed some similar systems, and these systems have been applied to coal mining enterprises, for example, Pingdingshan Industrial College of Technology has developed mine production simulation system, VRP-platform company has for developed safety and skills training VR system on coal mining for certain university, but metal and nonmetal mining enterprises has not introduced such systems. In recent years,"five-step working method for safety" has been widely carried out in mine enterprises,"five-step working method for safety" helps workers begin the work from the key positions of mine enterprises, targets to carry out the work on safety, with original point, high accepting degree.According to the actual situation of typical post in Fuquan Mine, this paper combined "five-step working method for safety" with virtual reality technology, research the application of virtual reality technology on typical post safety training of Fuquan Mine, and chose drillman to work as an example for working out the key techniques of the system, at the same time, it is hoped to provide certain reference for safety training of metal mining industry.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an overview section which discussed the necessity and significance of the thesis, analyzed and summarizes the current situation of mining hazard identification at home and abroad and the research status of safety training, this paper emphasizes the application of virtual reality technology in mine safety training, summarized the deficiency safety training work in mine, then established the purpose and contents of this paper, formulated the technical route, as pave the way to write below.The content of second chapter is identification of hazards during the working process of the typical post in Fuquan Mine. At first, this paper introduced hazard identification methods, and chose the suitable hazard identification method according to the actual situation of Fuquan Mine, then using these methods, hazards during the working process of the typical post in Fuquan Mine were identified.In the third chapter, the main job was to give a overall design to safety training virtual reality system of typical post in Fuquan Mine. Firstly, it expounded the system design principle, the system needs analysis and function design; Secondly, by detailing the overall framework, the training goal, employee training, typical post training and training effect feedback, this paper presented the structure of the safety training system, and chose drillman to work as an example to carry out the safety training content system design of typical post, including the basic circumstances and drilling procedure of drilling operations, training of safety operation rules, safety training of accident types and training accident emergency, etc. In order to make the training system improvement continuously update, this paper put safety training effect evaluation into training system feedback part, forming a closed loop system, which has important meaning for the efficient safety training work of Fuquan Mine. In the fourth chapter, drillman was chosen to work as an example for researching the key techniques of the system. Above all, it detailed the related concept of virtual reality, including the definition of virtual reality, characteristics, structure and classification, etc. The theory above is very important to tools selection, system category orientation, the development cost control, systems using, and so on; Posteriorly, by comparing the most popular three modeling software, namely, Maya, SoftImage,3DS MAX, including the scope of application, advantages and disadvantages, degree of difficulty, development costs,3DS MAX was chosen as modeling software to this system; Additional, VRP was the virtual reality developing platform, and its working principles and operation method were introduced.In the stage of modeling, this paper gave detailed description to the process of establish static model and dynamic model, the former included the construction of character models, equipment models, scene model, the latter included virtual character operating equipment animation design, accident animation design; After the modeling part, it need to optimize and bake the whole model in order to be imported VRP editor for virtual reality and training audio loading and3D sound setting, making key technology of the system carried out.In the last part, summary to this paper was done, so does prospects to the need for further research and improvement.Starting from the safety training situation and actual needs of metal mine, this paper developed safety training virtual reality system of typical post in Fuquan Mine, this method combined people, machine and environment in a virtual way to which opened up a bran-new field for remedying the defect of traditional safety training education, which made training virtual to be reality, avoided high input of the physical model training, saved a lot of resources, improved the cognitive and operational training effect. In the future, under the development mode with high informatization and efficiency first, safety training virtual reality system is of epoch-making significance and impact.
