Research On Digital Drawing Archives Management System Development Of Electric Engineering Design

Engineering design drawings and related documents has a very important role, it is the final product for a design business. With the idea of the construction project lifecycle management, more and more construction, operation unit design enterprises in the delivery of design products, providing not only the traditional blueprint and other paper materials, but also electronic document model file to meet their needs in the construction, operation process. How to improve the collection, management, engineering design drawings and related documents in the information age has great significance in engineering design, construction and operation enterprises.In this paper, the author perform a project in the Electric Power Design Institute of Zhejiang Province of engineering design process, engineering design drawings and related documents collection, management. The current situation of use and existing problems are analyzed to explore the establishment of the engineering design of digital document management system and the difficulties, solutions, implementation Guidelines and the points for attention.In this project, the author introduce a set of digital images CAD software platform based on bar code technology, then designed and developed a set of engineering design of digital documents management system. The system was designed as follows:when designers submit the drawings print applications, the computer software automatically collect the relevant documents and convert image files to a variety of different formats, and automatically complete the Electronic Document filing function. It can not only reduce the archive workload of the designer, but also improves the accuracy and timeliness of the archive of engineering drawings. This system significantly improved the quality and efficiency of Document Management in the engineering design enterprises.
