Research And Implement On Business Intelligence System For Product Quality Analysis

Quality is the lifeline of a enterprise, only to improve the quality of products, the competitiveness of enterprises can be raised, and the enterprises can keep on growing in the global economy tide invincible. On the era of enterprise information management increasingly popular, the data of the product quality can be stored and accessed easily, but the new problems enterprises have to face are how to explore the information is implicit in the data and how to use it to develop the business of enterprises. Therefore, how to use a mass of products’ quality data source accumulated by different enterprises’ information system, so as to put the quality knowledge into system integration and set up quality information-unit model, to make unified information description aimed at enterprise quality activities procedure, to carry out product quality online analysis, for the purpose of making the enterprise to discover the quality problems and the take measures of improve the quality of products, all these issues should be obtained high concern from the academia and the business circles.With the support of National863plans projects "development and application on business group associated information service platform for mid-small enterprises cluster" and taking WZ automobile factory as the prototype, this paper design and develop the Business Intelligence System for Product Quality Analysis. It can be used to make analysis about the fault of parts and vehicles in the link of submission, production and after-sales. At the same, author studies the Data Warehouse (DW) technology and On-Line Analysis Processing (OLAP) technology.Firstly, paper elaborate the concept of BI, DW and OLAP as well as the relevant knowledge. Then, paper analyses the existing level of information management for the WZ automobile factory. Besides, the main product for the plant’s quality requirements throughout the life cycle and its related businesses are involved into the analysis, in order to obtain the related topics of product quality. Based on the topics and business, paper designs the architecture of system, chooses a development environment and completes the work of front-end display. In accordance with the system architecture and the related topics, a quality of information data warehouse and ETL (Extract. Transform, Load) process for the data of system are designed and implemented. Finally, paper completes analysis for each subject of multi-dimensional OLAP data, provides reporting service and front-end visual display.
