Risk management is a method to identify, analyze, measure and control risk using the least cost. It has been widely used in chemical, aviation, nuclear industry and other fields. There are a lot of hazards with the development of urban metro constructions in China. Recent years, metro accidents happened frequently, which caused great casualties and property losses. Therefore, using risk management techniques to control risk is essential in metro operation.In order to achieve the integration of metro operation process and risk management techniques, our laboratory develops the risk management system combined with the specific organizational structure of metro operation company. The system is committed to risk information management platform in metro operation to identify, analyze, assess and control the potential hazards. According to the relevant standards, procedures and experience of the experts, we use the risk matrix based on the ALARP principle to confirm the risk level of hazards and give appropriate measures to control the risk.The thesis studies the application of risk management techniques in the process of metro operation, and mainly achieves design and implementation of client-side for risk management system in metro operation. The system mainly achieves declaration, assessment, countersignature, control, query, statistics and printing of hazard. It is a three-tier distributed system based on RIA model. And it consists of client, application server and database. The client is responsible for interaction with the user. User requests are sent to the server. And the server returns the result to the user. The client uses Flex technology to develop. It uses MVC pattern to design the client structure to decouple user interface and business logic, which can improve the maintainability and scalability. And it achieves the communication with server-side through the remote object service provided by BlazeDS, which improve the efficiency of data transmission.The development of system achieves the identification, assessment and control of potential hazards, guarantees the metro operation safety effectively and provides a basis for statistical analysis of hazard data. There are many shortcomings in the system. Those need to be further improved in future work.
