With the continuous progress of science and technology,and the development of economic and social, safety guard has become more and more important.The rapid rise in Internet of Things today, information collection technology makes the production, transportation and logistics industry develop in a more intelligent way. The Radio Frequency Identification technology is no doubt becoming one of the major technical applications in the21st century. RFID technology is an automatic identification technology. Because of its long service life, high recognition rate and anti-interference ability of the harsh environment, RFID technology also can collect real-time information fastly and accurately, and has been widely used in patrol management system, intelligent building access, security anti-theft security system. But the traditional wired patrol system has some shortcomings, for instance, the various site inspections needs integrated wiring, heavy and complex workload, and has low reliability and high installation and maintenance cost. With the gradual development and application of RFID technology, wireless patrol management system also came into being, enables the system to complete the long-range identification, reducing the complexity of wiring and security risks, and effectively improve the stability. The system has been widely used in the field of campus, residential quarters, factories, warehouses, prisons patrol and other fields, which have certain application prospects.Based on the research background of the subject, the paper firstly introduced the RFID technology, the application of patrol management system and basic knowledge of system theory in details, including the basic concepts, classification, working principle of RFID. Through the project demonstration, it introduced the hardware and software design of wireless patrol management system based on RFID and microcomputer patrol recorder,as well as the communication protocols of the system.Then it determined final system implementations of hardware and software, and formed a wireless patrol system which function is relatively completed. Finally, the paper introduced the system debugging and testing.In this paper, the main task of wireless patrol management system is that the hand-held reader use RFID technology to record site inspections information.Through microcomputer patrol management recorder,the information is stored, management and output.The system hardware circuit use low-power consumption MCU-microcontroller PIC, which make the hand-held reader and recorder has good compatibility, and data transmission is stable and reliable.The circuit of hand-held reader choose the EM4095RF chip and with battery-powered supply.When the system does not work,the hand-held reader work in low-power consumption state.The design and implementation of the wireless patrol management system based on RFID technology change the general mode of using the PC software to manage the patrol information, and overcome the disadvantage of the wired system wiring.The final test shows that the system can achieve a good patrol management, data storage and retrieval of information, the systerm has put into use in some places and has a good prospect in application.
