Nowadays as improvement of living standard and rapid technical progress, peoplerely on wireless communication more and more heavily and the carriers of wirelesscommunication are spreading their business from cities to rural areas, sometime evenfurther. The city of Dalian lies in Liaotung peninsula in North China. The city issurrounded by Bo Sea and Yellow Sea and has long stretches of coastline. As rapideconomic development in this area, fishing industry and traveling industry are growing fastand carriers of wireless communication in this area are getting focusing on the coverage ofoversea wireless-communication network. CDMA, which stands for Code DivisionMultiple Access, is one of the mainstream technologies of wireless communication in the2nd generation (The other mainstream technology is GSM). Although the coverage ofCDMA network is qualified in Dalian inland and inshore area,many problems arise andheavily affect the qualification of cellophane communication when the distance gets farand far oversea. This is becoming one of the critical issuers of CDMA network in Dalian.This article started from the demands of real Dalian wireless communication market,considered the geography properties and the current states of CDMA network in Dalian,and designed a set of blueprint of oversea wireless communication network based onCDMA technology. This article demonstrated two main instruments to realizecommunication over long distance oversea. One of the instruments is choosing properaltitude for the location of base station and making use of high plus antennae and signalamplifier of tower. The other instrument is raising the SNR (signal-to-noise) by PilotBeacon technique.The article illustrated the whole process of the implementation of the design and thefull record of the oversea network signal test. The result of test fully proves that thewireless network design in this article is reasonable and feasible. The testing result for2900sea miles (5370kilometers) is very close to the result showed by emulator program.Furthermore, this article provides further optimization solution towards the problemsduring the first period test.
