China Telecom undertake CDMA network steadily on October of2008and the official start ofAll-Service Operation has began. For China Telecom, a new era of CDMA network is both theunprecedented challenges and the times of opportunity. Faced with the severe market competition,how to improve the quality and user viewing experience to create the best products in the CDMAnetwork and build the brand image of e surfing have become important priorities for back-endoperation department. Traditional KPI index can only reflect drop calls, cannot reflect the user’sactual perception. In recent years, through the analysis and experiment, it shows that the accessEc/Io of CDMA network has a direct relationship with voice quality, especially the reference pilotEc/Io also reflects the quality of coverage.The starting point of this thesis is to enhance the users perceive of the CDMA network, themain focus is raising the depth of the CDMA network coverage of Nanjing. On the basis of theresearch and analysis of basic theory of the CDMA technology and the network optimizationtechnology, using the massive user call records access Ec/Io as a data source, the value of Ec/Ioequal or greater than-12db as a evaluation basis of the deep coverage level, the thesis study andexpounds the methods of improving the depth of the CDMA network coverage from seven aspects:the key site acquisition, micro station construction, radio frequency optimization, CG antennafeeder separation, parameter optimization, frequency division standby and indoor pilot frequencycovers. Especially in the border areas of cities, in which the signal is clutter and weak, the effect ofusual optimization means is unsound. The thesis puts forward the scheme settings of frequencydivision standby and expounds the steps of the determination of standby areas, the modification ofcarrier frequency, the configuration of power, five switching scenarios need to test. The results ofpractical application show that the call drop rate of overall area is reduced and the user perception isimproved. |
